Level 5 missions vary from typical missions in a few key ways. For one, you will probably be using multiple ships to complete the mission. Ideally, you will have one tank ship capable of handling 2000+ DPS with a capless passive tank. Tech 2 command ships/hacs capable of doing this (such as the nighthawk and ishtar) are popular choices for this role. The reason for a capless tank is the energy neutralizing batteries that are commonly found in level 5 missions. Due to the amount of DPS in these missions, having active hardeners offline when you run out of cap can result in a swift death.
